Just writing to keep those who are still interested, still interested.

Nothing much has transpired in the past few weeks–the 60th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China was on October 1st, and we had a ten day vacation because of it. Some friends from Shanghai came up to stay with us, and we knocked out some of the obligatory Chinese tourist stuff. I’m still trying to get photoshop and lightroom onto my mac in order to fix up my pictures–doing it through flickr is too time consuming. Once that happens, there will be a HUGE update of pictures–just bear with me.

We have a new roommate now. One of my classmates, Benny, was kicked out of his apartment by the Chinese government. Not because he did anything wrong, but because he is a foreigner in China, and the government likes keeping life interesting for foreign students like us.

School’s picking up.
